The Old Jewish Cemetery in Wrocław is an integral part of the history of both the city itself and the Jewish community of Wrocław.

The cemetery, overgrown with lush greenery, has become the resting place of many famous personalities, scientists, artists, including the founder of the first workers' party in Germany - Ferdinand Lassall, the famous botanist - Ferdinand Cohn and the author of the first synthetic history of Jews since biblical times - Heinrich Greatz to name but a few.
